Wellies are part of the way of life and your child will spend plenty of time exploring and learning outside in our beautiful countryside location.Whatever the weather, our children have huge adventures exploring the school’s grounds with our 130 acres of parkland and woods offering plenty of room to spread their wings and develop a love for nature as they grow vegetables, enjoy treasure hunts, go on minibeast safaris and climb trees. Bushcraft skills such as sawing, fire lighting, den building, hammering and peeling are developed in our wonderful outdoor classroom in the woods.

Nursery & Pre-School Trips

We believe that children should experience the world beyond environments that they are used to as part of their learning and development.Your child will join us as we venture on trips to enhance our curriculum, such as to the beach close by, or monthly visits to the local public library to support communication and language development. We welcome special visitors into our Nursery & Pre-School to run workshops with the children and enjoy themed days (which often involve dressing up!) throughout the year.
