Every decision we take, including our fee structure, is guided by a clear principle: to provide an exceptional education that delivers strong outcomes for every child, preparing each child not only for academic success but for a meaningful and authentic life.
With careful long term financial planning and a strong, stable foundation built from a track record of strong academic performance and growth in pupil numbers, we continue to invest in the areas that matter most - excellent teaching, high quality facilities and the breadth of opportunity that define an Embley education.

Do you offer financial assistance and bursaries?
| MEANS TESTED BURSARIES |
|---|
|
We offer a limited number of means-tested bursaries to children entering the school in Year 7, 9 and 12. They are awarded on a case-by-case basis and based on financial need, taking into consideration academic ability, and are reviewed annually. We do not offer full bursaries and parents are expected to make a contribution to the fees. The value of the award is calculated on a sliding scale that takes into account the financial position of both parents’ income and assets. Please note that bursary applications for combined incomes over £70,000 may not be considered. To apply for a means tested bursary, first you will need to register your child at Embley. We will then work with Bursary Administration Ltd, who administer bursary applications on our behalf, to help guide you through the process. The deadline for applications for September 2026 entry is Friday 28 November 2025 and for September 2027 the deadline is Friday 26 November 2026. Bursary decisions are communicated alongside decisions on school places. |
| EMERGENCY BURSARIES |
|---|
|
Occasionally, parents are unable to continue paying the full fees due to unemployment or other circumstances. It may then be possible for us to provide a bursary or other short-term support to enable your child to complete the current stage of education. Normally, such assistance is provided to those pupils who are preparing for public examinations. We may ask parents to complete a bursary application for emergency bursary support, depending on the circumstances. For further information about financial support, please contact our Admissions Department. |
