SIXTH FORM

Belonging & Personal
Development

Ours is a welcoming community. Sixth formers are treated as adults and have a strong professional relationship with their tutors and teachers. Our Directors of Sixth Form are ever present, sharing a workspace with students.

Finding balance

We offer tailored mentoring and coaching that comes with belonging to small tutor groups. Tutors see their tutees twice daily, guiding each sixth former through their journey.

They have a wealth of experience and will provide direction on anything from university choices and UCAS applications to making the most of every moment in Sixth Form.

We try to ensure a balance between helping students manage their lives currently and laying the foundations for managing future experiences. This includes practical day-to-day skills such as car maintenance and cooking healthily on a budget but also includes study skills, consent, building healthy relationships, alcohol and substance use, personal finance management and keeping a healthy body and mind

The Wellbeing Hub

For parents, we run workshops offering guidance and ideas about how parents can support their children at home.

We share exclusive access to the Wellbeing Hub with our parents, students and staff. This is a professionally endorsed resource that has been developed by child and adolescent mental health and wellbeing expert, Alicia Drummond. It’s an online platform that has been designed to help parents understand and meet their child’s social and emotional needs as they grow up.
