Sessions & Fees

Our Nursery & Pre-School is open from 08:00 until 18:00, Mondays to Fridays, for 48 weeks of the year. Children may attend during term time only (34 weeks/year) or full time (48 weeks/year).

We offer two types of sessions each day. 

All sessions include lunch. To assist busy parents, wrap around care is available with our Breakfast Club (08:00 – 08:30), Afternoon Club (15:30 – 16:00) and After School Crèche (16:00 – 18:00).

Nursery & Pre-School Sessions

• Nursery (under 3s) – A minimum of three sessions per week is required up to the age of three. Following a child’s third birthday, this requirement increases to three full days or equivalent per week.
• Pre-School (over 3s) – A minimum of three full days or equivalent per week is required. In the final term at Pre-School before joining Reception class, children are required to attend for a minimum of four full days per week.   

A half day is one session, a full day equates to two sessions.

2024-25 Nursery & Pre-School Fees

Our fees include all specialist French, Music, PE and Natural Sciences teaching, a freshly prepared lunch each day, and morning and afternoon snacks (where applicable).

Eligible working families of two-year-olds and all families with children over the age of three are able to use the Government funded (EYE) sessions each day from 13:00 to 16:00, including Afternoon Club, based on a full day’s booking.

Embley Nursery is open 48 weeks a year. It will be closed on the following inclusive dates and all bank holidays: 26 to 30 August 2024; 23 Dec 2024 to 3 Jan 2025; 14 to 21 April 2025; and 25 to 29 August 2025.
