Students achieve CREST Gold Award

Congratulations to Year 13 students Lucy and Charlie, whose project, Developing Reliable Methods to Investigate Apple Nutrition, has earned the prestigious CREST Gold Award. The CREST award scheme is a nationally recognised, student-led project programme, with the Gold Award being the most advanced level of the British Science Association's programme.

Lucy and Charlie's project developed a robust method for measuring Vitamin C concentration and demonstrated excellent scientific inquiry, research, resilience, problem-solving and reflection. The CREST assessor particularly praised both students for their meaningful individual contributions and personal development throughout the project. A fantastic achievement and wonderful recognition of their scientific curiosity.
