To provide a healthy balance against the academic pace of Sixth Form life, all students enjoy a Sports afternoon each week.
Our sixth formers benefit from a sporting programme that is tailored to their strengths and passions.
As well as our core team sports of rugby, hockey and cricket for boys and hockey, netball and cricket for girls, sixth formers can enjoy rock climbing, paddle boarding, kayaking, golf, archery and tennis.
Sailing is a popular sport across the school, with many sixth formers enjoying our keelboat development and race sailing programmes. Our Outdoor Education Department also run the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, Combined Cadet Force as well as coordinate our Embley Ten Tors adventures.
Sport also offers leadership development opportunities. Our elite athletes provide one-to-one and group training to younger students and support our sports coaches at Senior School squad training sessions for rugby, hockey and netball, and sixth formers help lead our sailing programme.
And for elite athletes, we also offer a performance sport scholarship programme with a range of benefits. Review the Performance Sport Scholarship Programme.
