About

Embley Parents’ Association

Embley Parents’ Association (EPA) (Registered Charity No. 1179033) is a team of parents and members of staff that help bring our school community together to have fun and fundraise through popular social events such as Fireworks’ Night, the Prep School Easter Egg Hunt and Summer Party. All parents and staff are members of the Parents’ Association and are welcome to get involved and attend as many meetings and events as they wish.

Each year group has a parent representative who organises year-specific social gatherings and represents those parents who are unable to attend the Embley Parents’ Association general meetings.

Embley Parents’ Association hold several meetings a year, including an AGM. All parents are welcome.

Parents’ Association Shop

Parent volunteers from Embley Parents’ Association run the shop which sells secondhand uniform. The shop is located by the Senior School car park and also stocks new Games socks, ties and gum shields and it can order new uniform items directly from Schoolblazer on behalf of parents. The shop is open on the following days during term time:

Mondays – 08:10-09:10
Wednesdays – 15:00-16:00
Fridays – 15:00-16:00

Parent year representative

Parent year representatives are the voice of all the parents in their year groups and are relied upon by the EPA to help organise volunteers, publicise and support events. Ideally parent year reps are expected to attend at least three meetings in the year to put forward the views of each year group, parents for events and funding requests and also to report back the decisions and workings of the EPA meetings through the minutes.
