Sixth Form at Embley offers the opportunity to study subjects that play to your academic strengths but that you will also gain joy from studying in greater depth. It is the most exciting part of your school journey as it paves the final road into life beyond school: be that at university or a degree apprenticeship.

Our Nightingale Lectures see explorers, astronauts, leading sports personalities and Formula 1 designers and engineers speak to students during formal, black tie dining experiences and our higher education conferences, university roadshows and industry careers events all form part of our two-year programme.

Our diverse co-curricular programme includes performing arts, sports, debating, overseas expeditions, Combined Cadet Force and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. From representing members of the school community at Student Council and leading our golf and sailing programmes to supporting staff in the planning and management of school investment projects, you will take an active role in the leadership of our school.
