We are delighted to announce Layla and Ollie as our new Heads of School for the academic year 2025/26. They take the mantle from our current Heads of School, Liv and Josh, who have done a phenomenal job over the last year.
Layla joined Embley in Year 4. With a passion for music, you may recognise Layla from her many musical performances at Speech Days, open events, Music recitals and Drama productions. Layla has proven to be an excellent ambassador for Embley whether through academic achievement or her involvement in school life.
Since joining Embley in Year 5, Ollie has contributed widely to school life on the Student Council, Eco Committee, Service Committee and as a Drama scholar. Ollie is a Cadet Sergeant in our Combined Cadet Force and has become a role model to our younger cadets and pupils.
They will be supported by Deputy Heads of School, Issy and Miles. Issy joined Embley in Year 9 and is looking forward to her role and developing a tutoring programme to help students with their work and revision. Miles, who joined Embley in Year 8, is looking forward to improving the prefect system and establishing greater links with the Prep School and transition. Congratulations to them all, we cannot wait to see how they get on.
