We are proud to announce our U15 Rugby team has reached the semi final of the Continental Tyres School National Bowl.
On Wednesday 4 March, we will host Gravesend Grammar School at Embley in what promises to be a truly significant occasion in the school’s sporting history. To place this achievement into context, this is the first time Embley has reached the final four of a national rugby competition. Schools from all across the country enter this prestigious tournament each year, and to be competing at this stage is a remarkable testament to the character, commitment and talent of this group of players. They have earned their place among the very best at this level nationally.
Their journey to the semi final has been exceptional. The team completed the entire Autumn term unbeaten in their Saturday fixtures, an outstanding achievement that reflects both consistency and competitive resilience. Just before half term, they were crowned Hampshire Schools County Champions, a title secured through disciplined performances and genuine team unity. Throughout the National Bowl campaign, the players have shown composure under pressure, courage in key moments and an unwavering belief in one another.
Wednesday’s fixture is about more than a place in the next round. It is an opportunity to reach a National Final, a stage that very few school teams experience. It represents months of preparation, hard work in all conditions and a collective ambition that has driven them forward all season and it is a privilege for our team to be competing in such a significant match on home soil.
