Summer sailing at Embley
Pupils in Year 6 to Sixth Form have enjoyed an exciting start to our Summer term Games programme on the water.Senior School students have been sailing our keelboats out of the Royal Lymington Yacht Club, gaining valuable experience in seamanship and coastal sailing. Meanwhile, our Prep pupils are working towards their RYA qualifications at Spinnaker Sailing Club, with many students making excellent progress.
Our more experienced sailors have been sharpening their teamwork and racing skills in preparation for the IAPS Sailing Championships. Monday evening sailing sessions have also continued to grow, providing a chance for pupils to further develop their racing ability in a fun and supportive environment. It has been wonderful to see such strong enthusiasm for sailing across the school, from pupils discovering the sport for the very first time to those pursuing competitive racing opportunities.
