Year 6 pupils enjoyed a week-long residential trip to Mill on the Brue, full of excitement and learning new skills.
The adventurous trip offered a great opportunity for our pupils to grow in many different ways. Their resilience and self-confidence were tested with challenge skills including tunnelling, zip-wire and the daring high ropes. The children build relationships and strengthen their communication skills through team building exercises and used their initiative to work together to navigate the low ropes, assault courses and raft building activities. Year 6 also learnt more about garden to table, sustainability and the environment to develop their awareness of the natural world.
It was an unforgettable time for all and lovely to witness each pupil grow as an individual; challenge themselves and strengthening relationships. What a wonderful way to begin their last term as Year 6 and prepare them to start their journey to Embley Senior School.
