Embley is delighted to report another remarkable year for GCSE results. In line with the fantastic A Level results reported last week, these grades also show how an Embley education has helped many students achieve a grade above their baseline predictions.
97% of pupils achieving GCSE grade 4 and above (A*-C), 65% of grades were 9-6 (A*-B) and 42% of grades at 7 and above (A*-A). This reflects the outstanding work of students and the commitment and expertise of teaching staff to help students achieve their best.
Further Maths and French yielded excellent results with over three quarters of grades at 7 and above (A*-A), and two thirds of students achieved grades 9-7 (A*-A) in History. 60% of Politics students, 59% of Geography students and 56% of Art & Design students achieved 9-7 (A*-A).

Achieving these results requires a team effort: hard work and determination of students, exceptional teaching from our staff and dedicated support from parents. These students have exciting futures ahead of them and we look forward to seeing the majority of them in just a few weeks’ time as they embark on their Embley Sixth Form experience,” said Headmaster Cliff Canning.
