Our boarders have been busy embracing the Christmas countdown in true Embley style with a range of House challenges, trips and festive activities.
From exploring the Bath Christmas Markets to an unforgettable ice-skating trip to Swindon there has been plenty of festive fun. Our boarders also decorated the Manor House, transforming Embley into a cosy Christmas grotto. The main highlight of the term was our Boarders' Christmas dinner at the stunning Kimbridge Barn. The evening featured Secret Santa surprises, a visit from Father Christmas (plus a couple of very convincing reindeer) and a Christmas quiz that brought out everyone’s competitive side!
There has been lots to celebrate this term including Frieda starring as Cedric Diggory in Embley's production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. On the sports field, Milo and Tim have been vital members of the U15 rugby team, who have been performing exceptionally at both county and national levels. The rivalry of our boarding tutor groups has also continued this half term and we can already sense the excitement building for the next challenge.
It has been an exciting and rewarding term filled with achievement, laughter and adventure. We are incredibly proud of all our boarders and look forward to welcoming them back in the New Year!
