Year 5 return from Avon Tyrrell
Year 5 had an exhilarating experience on their outward-bound residential trip to Avon Tyrrell in the New Forest.
The two-night residential was an opportunity for the children to develop their independence, self-confidence and take calculated risks in a safe and nurturing environment. The trip, supported by Avon Tyrrell's expert team, was packed full of memorable experiences including climbing, paddleboarding and the tree top trail that tested our pupils' resilience and built their teamwork, leadership and communication skills. Evening activities such as campfires and a night-time orienteering developed the children's environmental awareness and provided time for reflection, fun and friendship.
