An Avon Tyrrell adventure
Year 5 had a brilliant time on their residential adventure to the Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Activity Centre set in the picturesque New Forest National Park.
The two-night trip was packed full of thrilling activities and experiences that gave the children a chance to challenge themselves and develop their self-confidence, self-relliance and leadership skills. Activities included braving the heights of the climbing wall and treetop trail, and building confidence on the water through canoeing and paddleboarding. In the evenings, the children enjoyed making memories around the campfire and putting their teamwork to the test in night-time orienteering challenges.
