Abseil for Alzheimer's

Our Embley community showed off their courage, compassion and community spirit in an unforgettable challenge.

To mark his 92nd birthday, friend of the school Charles Wylie took on a daring abseil down Spinnaker Tower - and he was not alone! A brave group of students, parents, and staff from Embley joined him in support of Alzheimer’s Research UK. Alzheimer’s is one of the UK's biggest killers and affects one in every two families. Charles' wife sadly suffers from the disease and he has shown extraordinary courage and determination raising funds to help find a cure.

Together, they raised over £6,200 for this vital cause and we are incredibly proud to have supported Charles in his fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
