Camaraderie, team spirit and commitment were on display at our Prep and Senior School Sports Day as our Houses battled for victory!
Prep School Sports Day kicked off with Nursery to Year 2 pupils first to race. There was lots of fun to be had in a variety of events including the bean bag toss, obstacle race and foam javelin. In the afternoon, it was the turn of Year 3 to 6 who gave it their all across the different field and track events. To end the afternoon, it was great to see everyone cheer on their teams in the relays before the final points were tallied.
Senior School Sports Day had an Olympics theme and celebrated the values, the motto and symbol of the Games. Within each House group, students designed decorations for their respective House areas and the start of the day included an Olympic-style procession. Students showed off their sporting talents in a mix of events culminating in the student and staff relays!
Congratulations to Nightingale, who was victorious at both our Prep and Senior Sports Day events. Well done also to our Victor Ludorum and Victrix Ludorum award winners from our Senior Sports Day – Thomas and Sophia.
