Scholars' Presentation Evening

The Academic Scholars Presentation Evening was a wonderful celebration of our students' hard work and dedication.

Over the last academic year, our academic scholars met every week to work on their Scholars Project Qualifications. This unique qualification provides students with the opportunity to develop essential independent learning skills, with an emphasis on collaboration and the learning process, as much as the final outcome. Each scholar independently created their own research question, conducted investigations and reflected on their learning journey.

During our Scholars' Presentation Evening, students confidently presented their findings to an audience, showcasing the depth and variety of their research. This externally accredited qualification encourages students to explore topics beyond the usual curriculum, preparing them for the next stage of their education and future academic or professional challenges.

Projects ranged from hammerhead shark, bottlenose dolphins and Formula 1 aerodynamics to the effects of ballet on the human body, VAR in football and astrophysics.

We are incredibly proud of our scholars for their achievements and the impressive work they shared at this event.
