Rugby training with Will Homer

Current Great Britain Rugby Sevens star Will Homer visited Embley to lead a training session for our U14 team. Will has played over 180 times for GB and scored over 200 points in his career. Most recently he represented GB in the World Sevens Series in Perth at the end of January.

Will delivered an informative presentation featuring a Q&A for our U14 Sevens' squad. Students learnt about his caraeer and life as a full-time rugby player. Will then led a coaching session where he shared his expertise with the players ahead of their training match with Winchester College. The session focused on the key skills required in Rugby Sevens and featured conditioning games used by the GB team.

It was an amazing opportunity for our players, there was a lot for them to take away from the experience and implement in their upcoming games.
