Prep Reading Challenge

Pupils from the Prep School took part in a series of reading challenges over the holidays: read under a tree, in a cosy den, in the most unusual place and read as many books as you can.

Congratulations to our top readers: Luca (Year 2) who read an impressive 12 books and Poppy (Year 6) who read an incredible 22 books! Pupils were also challenged to find the ‘most unusual places to read’. There were lots of creative entries as our pupils were discovered reading in washing machines, on horseback and upside down! The winners of our ‘most unusual places to read competition’ were Jerry, Ariella, Aubrey, Erin and India (riding Pache!).

This is just the start of some exciting reading-based initiatives coming up. It has been a delight to see the children give their all, develop their reading skills and demonstrate their love for literature.
