New Heads of School

We are delighted to announce Liv and Josh as our new Heads of School for the 2024/25 academic year.

Liv joined Embley in Year 4 and is currently Head of our Service Committee which runs our annual school Trashion show and launched a tree planting project this year. With a passion for everything Art, Liv provides vital backstage support to our Drama Department during school musicals with set, prop and design work. This year she has been helping Mrs Morgan and Mr Morris with our production of Grease. Currently studying A Level 3D Design, History and Art, Craft & Design, Liv plans to take her interest in art forward to study Fine Art at university.

Josh joined us in Year 12 and has been an invaluable member of our Sixth Form bringing his enthusiasm to every opportunity. A great team player and keen to create links across our community, Josh coaches Prep School rugby with Year 9 students and contributes to school life as the Prefect for the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and a Boarding Prefect. Josh studies Economics, History and Politics at A Level and is looking to complete a degree apprenticeship in business, with experience already lined up over the Summer.

They have both set forward a busy agenda while in their Head of Year roles at Embley, full of exciting initiatives to bring our community even closer, utilise our facilities and broaden opportunities. A huge congratulations to them both on their new positions, we are looking forward to seeing how they get on next year.

They take the mantle from Freya and Caleb who have done a magnificent job this year.
