Embley Fringe Festival

Our annual Fringe Festival took place in the Senior School on Thursday – a celebration of Art, Drama, Literature and Music at Embley. The Atherley Hall was transformed into a gallery space for the evening with wonderful displays of photography, art, craft and 3D design.

Outside in the quadrangle, guests were entertained by solo performers and musicians from Embley’s Concert Band, Year 10 Band and Flute Ensemble. The music was interspersed with the best of Embley’s public speakers and snippets from Shakespeare eloquently delivered by students and orchestrated by the English department. Meanwhile, in the Performing Arts Centre, students put on a rolling programme of performances featuring exerts from James and the Giant Peach and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime, to name but a few.

Alongside the plethora of entertainment, refreshments were laid on by Embley’s in-house catering team giving parents a chance to taste a range of mouthwatering samples from our school lunch menu.
