Keynote Speaker: Ros Atkins
Ros
Atkins is Analysis Editor for BBC News and has been labelled the nation's 'Explainer-in-Chief'. The 'Ros Atkins on...' video series features across BBC News and Ros is also the co-presenter of The Media Show on BBC Radio 4. He's also been a news presenter for over 20 years and has covered major stories around the world. He was the creator and presenter of BBC News programme Outside Source which aired for nine years.
Ros' first book The Art of Explanation came out in 2023 and received widespread praise. It's a guide for anyone looking to improve how they communicate. Ros' new BBC Radio 4 podcast, 'Communicating...', was released in May 2024.
Ros also DJs and, this year, made his debut at Glastonbury with a Drum&Bass set. He was also involved in a remix of the BBC News theme which received extensive media coverage.
