Carols from the Abbey

Embley Carol Services took place in the splendour of Romsey Abbey this week. Parents and grandparents alike joined the Prep and Senior school communities for their annual Christmas services.

The Prep School event celebrated the Christmas Story with a wonderful service led by Year 6, interspersed with music and carols performed by children from Reception upwards, as well as an introductory performance by the Senior School Flute Ensemble. 

A captivating solo of ‘Once in Royal David’s City’ marked the start of the Senior School Service led by Revd Thomas Wharton. A packed Abbey enjoyed collective vocal performances by Years 7 and 8, Embley Voices and the Senior Chamber Ensemble as well as instrumental piece by our talented flautists.
