Adventure at Avon Tyrrell

Year 5 brought great excitement to their annual residential trip to Avon Tyrell in the picturesque New Forest National Park.

The adventurous trip offered lots of opportunities for pupils to grow their resilience and team work whilst learning new skills. Every pupil brought bucket loads of confidence and bravery to the different activities; particularly as they explored the thrilling tree top obstacle course! It was wonderful to see Year 5 strengthen relationships and build their communication skills as they learnt how to achieve success in the challenges and work effectively together as a team by listening more attentively to each other.

It has been fabulous to see our pupil’s independence and confidence extend into the classroom as they returned to Embley this week.
