Student Leadership

Across the Senior School, our students are encouraged to take an active role in the leadership of the school. Our Senior School Student Council is modelled on the House of Commons Select Committee. Led by the Heads of School, the Council meets twice a term, where the opinions and views of elected pupils from each year group are shared and the Headmaster and senior members of staff respond to the pertinent issues raised.

Alongside the Heads of School roles, students from Year 13 are also selected to fulfil the roles of Prefects and Heads of House. Year 12 Year Group Leaders are assigned to specific year groups and act as the student go-to person for each year. We also have a whole school engagement programme where our young leaders act as role models to our younger pupils and support the role out of a number of curricular and co-curricular initiatives across the school.
