It was a proud moment for our Combined Cadet Force (CCF) cadets and Embley students as they paid their respects over Remembrance weekend. On Armistice Day, Captain Smart, Sergeant Rose and Corporal Durrant attended the Romsey Armistice Service at the Memorial Gardens. The Fort Cumberland Guard Re-enactment team were in attendance with their canon which signalled the start of the two-minute silence; the end of which was marked by the sound of the Romsey Old Cadet Buglers.

On Sunday the rest of our contingent joined Captain Smart for the Remembrance Parade commencing from Love Lane. It was an honour for our Embley cadets to march through Romsey to Romsey Abbey in preparation for their Remembrance Service, before continuing to Romsey War Memorial Park. It was lovely to see our students feature in the Romsey Abbey Choir and being represented in the parade among the other clubs and services parading.
